How to delete your Keeplas account
You can delete your account and everything in your vault from the Keeplas app, at any time. Deletion takes effect 7 days after you confirm: until then, you can still change your mind.
Everything is erased
Your vault, your files, your contacts, your succession plan, your devices and your sign-in methods.
7 days to change your mind
Your account is erased for good 7 days after you confirm. You can cancel at any time before then.
No way back after that
Your vault is encrypted on your phone. Once it is erased, nobody can restore it, not even Keeplas.
Delete your account in the app
Step 1
Open Settings
Open the Keeplas app and tap Settings in the bottom bar. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Delete my account.
Step 2
Check what you lose
Keeplas lists everything that will be erased. Want to keep a copy of your vault? Tap Export my data first.
Step 3
Confirm it's you
Type DELETE in the field, then tap Delete my account. Keeplas then asks for Face ID, your fingerprint or your Keeplas code, so nobody else can delete your account.
Step 4
Your account is erased after 7 days
Keeplas sends you a confirmation with the deletion date. You can keep using the app until then. Changed your mind? Go back to Settings › Delete my account and tap Cancel the deletion.
What gets deleted
- Every item, note, photo, video and file in your vault, with their past versions
- Your folders, your shares and the access your trusted contacts have to your content
- Your succession plan, your Life check and your contact recovery
- Your devices, passkeys, backups and sign-in codes
- Your profile: name, phone number, email address and photo
- Your notifications and your support requests
What we keep
- Payment records, for as long as the law requires for accounting.
- The security audit log, for 30 days after your account is erased, then it is deleted. It records actions, never the contents of your vault.
What happens to your trusted contacts
They lose access to everything you shared with them. If you were someone's trusted contact, you are removed from their list and Keeplas asks them to set up their contact recovery again.

Lost your phone or can't sign in? Send us this form with the phone number of your account. We check it's really you, then delete your account and its data.
